RSS Drop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
RSS Drop stores all of your data locally in your browser's storage (localStorage). This includes your feed subscriptions, saved articles, boards, keyword alerts, reading history, and app preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server we operate.
RSS Drop fetches RSS feed content from the public internet through a third-party proxy service (rss2json.com) to convert feeds into a format the app can read. These requests contain only the feed URL you subscribed to — no personal information, device identifiers, or cookies are sent.
RSS Drop does not use any analytics, telemetry, or tracking tools. We do not use cookies. We do not fingerprint your browser. We do not track which articles you read, how long you use the app, or anything else about your behavior.
RSS Drop does not require or support user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no authentication of any kind.
The only third-party service RSS Drop communicates with is:
All data is stored in your browser's localStorage. You can delete all RSS Drop data at any time by going to Settings → Reset All Data, or by clearing your browser's site data for the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser data removes everything permanently — we have no backup or copy.
RSS Drop does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected or transmitted, no age-related data protections are applicable.
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Since RSS Drop doesn't collect your information, we have no way to notify you directly — please check back periodically.
